Joey Levy, is a sports lover from the United States and is the co-founder of noted fantasy sports platforms such as WinFlow and Draftpot. He conceived Fanplayoff as a fantasy sports platform having playoff season-long games. He was also particular about the snake drafting method to be included on the application. Team Vinfotech was excited to executive it because that would allow us to use the features of our fantasy sports framework vFantasy to the fullest.
Will a playoff season-long fantasy platform engage users easily?
We love challenges like these because they mean that we would get to test the various features of the proposed platform with users. We already knew the demographic yet we tested with a variety of users about their inclination towards a playoff season-long platform. Sure enough, Fanplayoff succeeded in getting the initial set of users.
We want to create a playoff season-long site with snake draft drafting method, which can connect users even after completion of regular season-long.
We will easily build a playoff season-long platform with the help of vFantasy Framework– our fantasy sports software. Our developers have the requisite experience to create snake drafting method as well.
We have only four weeks’ time to launch.
We can create the platform within that time frame.
We want the platform to be based on NBA and NFL leagues.
We have built a number of fantasy sports website and mobile applications on these leagues so it won’t be a problem at all.
I want to try out various fantasy sports leagues at one place. If there are tips and tricks for the same, it would be awesome.
I want to compete with other users with deep knowledge of NBA and NFL. So I want options that would enable this kind of competition.
I want to join or leave a league with classic scoring at any point during the season.
Team Vinfotech aimed at creating a rewarding and exciting playoff season-long fantasy sports platform for users interested in playing fantasy NFL and NBA leagues. Our fantasy sports framework vFantasy enabled us to execute as per the requirements.
We compared a few demographics and markets more for the playoff inclination of the users. We made a comprehensive plan involving clients’ ideas, thoughts and motivations so we could bring their vision to fruition.
Our user demographic profiles spanned across USA and the rest of the world. We conducted several online surveys to see what people prefer in fantasy sports. We compared these with our older user demographic surveys just to see the changes in the patterns of preferences.
We created an assessment document in order to refer to and go back to whenever needed.
We invited the Mr Levy for a discussion for a mutual understanding of the scope of the project. Our teams interacted with them personally for better understanding.
Fanplayoff had a snake draft method and it was a playoff season-long platform so we focused into creating wireframes that would give the client complete confidence in the app.
Our team now became more clear about the user demographic, so we set out to create designs. Our design process went on smoothly most of the time except for some project-specific hiccups.
Our team conducted a thorough quality analysis for user experience along with working on various aspects of the season-long fantasy sports application. Mr Levy was constantly in the loop as this was happening.
We follow design-thinking method of design and development. So our developers had users in mind constantly. They also interacted freely with our clients through our project manager.
Soon the beta version was ready within three weeks and our clients felt we had met their expectations.
