Sport Guru was conceptualized by our customer. The fantasy football platform took a bold assumption - sports fans and fanatics around the world have one thing in common – they are all managers and coaches and they can do it better than the professionals. He wanted to inspire these fans to put their strategy to the test and let their dream team win big! The fantasy football software is based on European football.
How can I build the best in-house fantasy football experience?
We knew that he already had a running and successful daily fantasy sports website. He wanted to take the experience several notches up with Sport Guru. Our team was excited for the challenge because that meant they were free to experiment with interfaces and features. We knew we were building an engaging fantasy football experience.
Client's challenges & our solutions
I don’t want just another fantasy football application. Since I wish to add more leagues in future, I want only experienced developers.

We set off creating an engaging fantasy football software that would not just be technically sound, but would also reflect the fan sentiments for football and football stars. For this, we devised a strategy that would include an appealing UI/UX design and then planned to customize the functionalities as per the needs of the client.
Market Research
We tracked the patterns in fantasy football over the past five years and tried to understand the changing preferences of fans over the years.
Engaging with users
We created user profiles from a big group of football fans and those who played football as a hobby. This helped us short-list the features that we should incorporate in the platform.
Business assessment document
As always, we created an internal document for putting all the findings at a single place in order to make a complete analysis of the project.
Creative workshop with client
In order to deliver a dynamic fantasy football application, we started to have in-depth interactions with our customer and understood his specific expectations for the design and functionality of the project.
Wireframing
We quickly created a few wireframes since we had to launch the platform as quickly as possible. This gave him the confidence that the web application would stand out nonetheless.
UI design
The design of the project had to be created keeping in mind the Spanish target audience. However, the platform was designed for any player worldwide. The designs had to look extremely relatable to the die-hard football fans.
Front-end development
Since we already have our fantasy framework ready, it helped us to speed-up the development at this stage. We did quality analysis for user experience along with working on various aspects of the fantasy football website.
Development
After receiving the feedback from a few users, we made a few modifications in the application functionality and created one-of- a-kind fantasy sports application for Spanish players.
Testing
We launched the beta version and gave enough time to the client to launch the application in market.
