Tariq Nasheed is the director of King Flex Entertainment Lives at Los Angeles, USA. He is a film producer and director who makes movies, TV shows which showcase the contributions/issues faced by the African American community. He envisioned a social network mobile application in order to provide the African American community a place to share their achievements, thoughts, empowerment issues.
How can we build the trust of the people of African descent on a social network?
Team Vinfotech attempted to answer this question by undertaking a deep end-user study, bringing out the problems and challenges of the people of global African descent. We realized this community constantly lived under fear that their content gets banned or scanned on generic social networks. Our team then focused on building an easy application that would quickly evoke the trust of this community.
This will be one-of-a-kind social network for Melanoid people, it cannot go wrong.
We would successfully engage this demographic since we can create a stunning and sticky application.
Melanoid community members must relate to this social platform instantly. They must get a sense of exclusivity.
Right from choosing the colours to design and development of UI and UX, we will create a complete solution echoing the distinct personality of this community.
I don’t really wish to have a usual website development process but need consulting.
We will be your extended team.
I want to feel free while sharing, posting or commenting on my social network.
I want that my community has a distinct voice and stands out among social networks.
My grandparents want to connect with old peers living in America on a simple social network app.
I want to be able to promote business to only my relevant demographic on a social network.
Keeping the African-American demographic in mind, Team Vinfotech leveraged from its experience of building mobile social networks and its ability to connect niche communities.
We are proud to have built the world's first social media app that is centered around the empowerment of Melanoid people.
We studied the various platforms Melanoid demographic used while networking online. We also outlined the various limitations that the community faced on those social networks.
We created samples of varied social interactions, issues, and problems that our user community was discussing. We talked to people of African-American descent, understanding their most pressing issues and how they dealt with discrimination.
We consolidated findings of entire market research and engagements with Melanoid users into a high impact document.
People from various backgrounds like marketing, sales, design, technology and operations participated from our end with team MoorUs. Our discussions propelled clarity of respective work to everyone.
We follow Design-Thinking methodology to Wireframing. After an intense creative development workshop we presented quick 7-8 wireframes. Team MoorUs had freedom to mix- match-add-delete-combine to quickly lead to their perfect wireframe.
We moved back and forth between our designers and team MoorUs to accommodate all that was important to conclude on one perfect design. We involved a few users to test final designs to check on its appropriateness, ease of use and overall appeal.
A working prototype without database was prepared to give feel of a working model, to check on the application flow.
We developed an entire interest-based community to come to what it is today.
We tested the product first internally. Launched the beta version for users to test. Incorporated users’ feedback and launched the next version.
